TREASURE CHEST CHARITY - HOSPITAL CONSULTING ROOMS FOR BREAST CANCER PATIENTS AND NURSES
In consultation with the Treasure Chest Charity committee members and the expert breast care nurses JC Design worked together to create a calming and less clinical environment for patients to receive post surgical treatment and counselling.
Academic research surrounding patient health demonstrates that a reduction in stress and anxiety is experienced "when surrounded by natural vegetation, images and materials” . This was the basis of our design approach to benefit patients in their post operative recovery.
